What a weekend!

The sun is out in full force (finally), so we spent some time at the farmers' market and Director's Park.

Dozer Days 2011

I have no words to describe how incredible this event was. Something like 40 large pieces of equipment, all running, and the kids could sit in with the drivers! Where was this when I was six?!?!?

Spring 2011

It's been a busy spring filled with many outings, several play dates, a couple of road trips and visits from family and friends. Over the Easter weekend Peter went to San Francisco to visit some old friends and Andrea, Roman and Julianna spent the (mostly) sunny weekend with family in Seattle. The weekend was jam packed with activity, but the kids loved all the time spent with family.

Hawaii 2011

We kicked off sabbatical with some time in Hawaii. Two days in Oahu to see Susan, Andrea's long time friend, and eight in Kauai with Agnes and family. Roman and Julianna had a blast, enjoying the sun, sand, water, and attention. A couple days' rain did not deter us from the pool, and we all got hooked on Scrabble to relax indoors.
